Under Armour is teaming with Corprenect to invite innovators, whether they be students, alumni, researchers, faculty or startups, to submit ideas for solutions that positively impact the company's sustainability. The teams with the best ideas will be selected to pitch in person to Under Armour at the Innovate Maryland event on April 11 at The Hotel@UMD.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do I need to sign an NDA or will Under Armour sign an NDA?
    NDAs will not be signed by either side prior to the pitch session. Pitches will be public.
  • Can more than one person pitch?
    Yes, but presentations are still limited to 5 minutes total.
  • Do I have to pitch new ideas?
    No. While you could pitch a new idea, you may also pitch a product you are working on, current research, or suggest new research to make prior work relevant.
  • Will I get coaching?
    Yes. Members of the Corprenect or Mtech teams will be available to meet with you prior to the pitch session.
  • What do we win?
    The purpose of this challenge is to introduce Under Armour to innovators with ideas to improve the company's sustainability. Winners get to pitch and interact directly with leaders from the company.
  • What happens after?
    Possible outcomes of the pitch session include, but are not limited to: collaboration, research engagement, hiring, or venture creation.
